About The Ownership

Franklin Exkorn is an expert in the field of landscaping. With over fifteen years of experience, he has cultivated a strong reputation in the industry. His extensive technical knowledge about soils, pesticides, and plants varieties is a valuable resource for his clients.

Franklin's love for landscaping inspired his career choice. He began as a maintenance crew member and quickly rose to become crew chief and, ultimately, President of his own company.

A New Jersey native, Franklin received his education at Rutgers University's Cook College School of Agriculture. He continues to supplement his education by keeping up to date with the latest advances in the industry.

About The Field Manager

Dan Ruiz is an experienced manager with a background in both landscaping and catering management. His background includes five years working as part of a landscaping crew, as well as ten years experience managing for a high-end caterer.

A native of White Plains, he currently holds a Bachelor's degree with a major in Psychology from Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York.

Dan prides himself on his responsive customer service. When a customer has a concern he takes it on as his own. No detail is too small and no problem too large. He is constantly furthering his education in various ventures and practices in order to broaden his knowledge and experience to better serve you, the client.

About The Design Manager

Kevin Hogsett has over 20 years experience in landscape construction. He started learning as a laborer for an established landscaping company in 1986. Between then and 1995 he climbed the ranks from laborer to crew chief of the design installation team. He then went on to start his own landscaping business which he ran successfully for ten years. We were lucky enough to convince him to join our team at Waterfall Landscaping where he now heads our landscape design division.

Kevin helps clients through all phases of the landscaping project from the initial concept and sketches all the way to its completion and final walk-through. His vast experience enables him to be flexible enough to incorporate a client’s preferences while taking appropriate measures to ensure the integrity of the design.
